tax credit donation

The AZ State “Working Poor Tax Credit” program allows you to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your AZ State income tax when you give to Stepping Stones. You can make this donation in addition to the AZ State “Schools Tax Credit!”

For those filing a single tax return, your donation can be up to $200, for those filing jointly, up to $400. This means that money you would otherwise pay toward your AZ tax liability will benefit women and children in our community instead!

Call Sally at 928.772.4184 for more information or click here for the state publication explaining this tax credit.

Become a Volunteer!

At the moment, the Stepping Stones Emergency Shelter is looking for a grocery shopper, help with yard work and a weekly cook. Stepping Stones Thrift Store is always looking for help receiving, sorting and stocking the store!

Volunteers are needed at our new Steps to Success program to share their time and skills with community men and women who are getting back into the workforce. Share your computer skills, give help with resume writing and job searching, be a personal shopper for career clothing, or provide haircuts and styles. If you are interested, please call Robin at 928.772.4184.

For more volunteer opportunities, please call Rikki at 928.772.4184.
